“Ukrvodokanalekologiya” together with European partners is starting the implementation of the project “Water for the future: modern standards of restoration of water infrastructure” with the aim of creating a sectoral plan for the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. It will become the basis for the restoration of the water supply infrastructure and the creation of conditions for the entry of world capital into complex development projects.

As part of the project, which will last from September 2023 to August 2024, a comprehensive document “Standards for the design and construction of water management infrastructure” (water supply, drainage, wastewater treatment) will be developed with the participation of European and Ukrainian experts.

The project is implemented thanks to a grant from the Slovak Agency for International Development (Slovak Aid). The project partner is the Slovak company ESOL sro. The project partner in Ukraine is the Ukrainian association “Ukrvodokanalekologiya”.

In parallel with the development, we will be engaged in the popularization and implementation of standards, which are the basis for the restoration of water supply infrastructure, both at the local and national levels.

All those who wish to join the project should inform “Ukrvodokanalekologiya” about it. For all questions, contact the project coordinator – Natalia Matkovska +38 067 505 53 55.

We would like to note that as a result of cooperation with Slovak colleagues, we have implemented the following projects over the past 4 years:

– Construction of equipment for the production of sodium hypochlorite for the purification of drinking water in the city of Kherson and in the city of Rivne;

– The project to modernize the pumping station in the city of Uman is currently being implemented.
