About the project initiators

The project “Water for the Future – Modern Standards for the Rehabilitation of Water Supply Infrastructure” is being implemented thanks to a grant from the Slovak Agency for International Development (Slovak Aid) in partnership with Esol s.r.o. and the Ukrvodokanalekologiya Association.

Slovak Aid

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation contributes with its activities to the fulfillment of the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development of the United Nations. SAIDC ensures the implementation of development cooperation and humanitarian aid by building capacity, sharing experience, sending volunteers and experts, along supporting the business environment following the Medium-Term Strategy of Development Cooperation of the Slovak Republic for 2019 to 2023.

The Slovak Agency for International Development Cooperation is a budgetary organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic (MFEA SR). The mission of the agency is to ensure the implementation of official development assistance of the Slovak Republic following programming and conceptual documents prepared by MFEA SR, required evidence of the European Union (EU), United Nations (UN), Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and other international commitments.

Esol s.r.o.

ESOL s.r.o. has extensive experience in design, consulting and engineering activities. The head of the team of experts, civil engineer Jan Pavlik, is an authorised water engineer with 20 years of professional experience. The team has experience in the implementation of projects in the water sector, waterworks and sewage treatment plants worth more than EUR 25 million.

Ukrvodokanalekologiya Association

Association “Ukrvodokanalekologia” is a voluntary inter-branch association of production enterprises, institutions, organizations of water supply and sewage management, research, design, repair and construction and other enterprises of various forms of ownership, united for the purpose of constant coordination and combination of production, scientific and other activities to solve the issues of providing the population with high-quality drinking water and water for industrial and economic purposes, drainage, effective wastewater treatment, improvement of the ecological state of water resources of the natural environment in Ukraine. Is a corporate member of the International Water Association IWA.
