The Ukrainian-Slovak expert group discussed a draft document that sets out the rules for the development, presentation and execution of standards for centralised water supply and/or centralised wastewater treatment companies in Ukraine.
This document was developed as part of the Water for the Future: Modern Standards for Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation project by a group of Ukrainian and Slovak experts.
During the meeting, the experts discussed the main sections of the Standards: typical structural elements of the enterprise standard, a list of technical standards, the procedure for reviewing design documentation at the enterprise, methodological requirements for reviewing design documentation for networks, facilities and water metering units of centralised water supply systems, rules for the operation of centralised water supply and centralised wastewater and sewage systems, etc.
It was also determined that a translation of the standards of the East Slovak Vodokanal would be added as an example of the company’s current technical standards.
